If it’s simply a relaxing and informative cruise around Edisto Island that you're looking for, during certain times of the year we offer two hour trips that give you an opportunity to see not only the island but much of its wildlife, including herons, egrets, pelicans, and dolphin.

U.S.C.G. licensed Captain Jimmy Skinner was born and raised in the lowcountry of South Carolina and has been guiding fishing charters in Edisto Beach since 2006. An intimate knowledge of the area, a commitment to conservation, and the patience to teach others what he has learned makes Captain Jimmy one of the best at what he does. From the youngest beginners to the most seasoned anglers, Captain Jimmy will make sure everyone leaves the boat with a smile on their face!
The boat
Our 2019 23’ Hanson is one of the most versatile and stable fishing platforms you’ll come across. Whether it’s stalking schools of redfish along a shallow flat, making a 20 mile run offshore to catch a cooler full of bottom fish, or anything in between, the Marsh Hen was built for it. Powered by a 200hp Suzuki, she features top of the line safety equipment and electronics, a 50 gallon live well, 75 quart drink cooler, 140 quart fish box, and cushioned seating for the whole family. We take a lot of pride in keeping the boat well maintained and clean. We ask that you help us by not wearing dark soled shoes, and to get the most life out of our upholstery, please no spray sunscreen.
